Our client requires a Registered Care Manager to head up a new architect-designed Care Home to cater for twenty-eight adults.
Each adult will be housed in her or his own semi-detached one-bed roomed bungalow, all with fittings designed for maximum utility, comfort and safety. There is also a large resources centre where recreation, training, education and management resource will be housed. The whole development is contained in a generous, landscaped site of seven acres. The design, facilities, layout and gardens ensure space, safety and quietude for each autistic service user. The facility will open on 1st April 2007.
You will need to have a proven track record of successfully managing a challenging care organisation. Exposure to the demands of autistic spectrum clients would be a plus. The successful candidate will preferably have a degree/professional qualification in Social Work, health or education. Post-graduate qualifications would be advantageous.
